Jackson Main Orchestra and Chorus Perform in Albany, NY Music in Our Schools Month
On Friday, March 5, 2010, the Jackson Main Elementary School Orchestra and Elite Chorus under the direction of Mr. Kevin Winther traveled to Albany, NY to perform for the NYS Music in Our Schools Month Festival.  Each year, select groups from across New York State are invited to perform for our elected officials.  These performances are designed to reinforce and demonstrate the importance of the Performing Arts in our public education.
